Excellent work. Too often we see things that we really like and want to believe, but we can't be certain that they are not disinformation.
Yes, I deperately wanted to believe what he was saying as a harbinger of the dangers to come. But while the simplified version of his words turned up a big Google search, it was difficult to find the original source. Finally when I did, there was no mention whatsoever of his being a doctor (in fact, maybe half the Google hits gave his name misspelled as Dr. Lawrence Britt). That does not undermine his research or findings, but I would love to see an analysis of contre-fascist regimes and the common characteristics of those - not what they strive for (a completely free and unregulated press), but rather how they function in spite of their constitutions or guiding documents.
Further, I agree with what Britt says, but I'm doubtful of the publishing organization - Council for Secular Humanity, an anti-religious organization that perhaps admirably seeks common ethics and lawfulness as derived from logic and observation versus faith. I agree with a lot of their assertions, but they shift too far left in renouncing what they disagree with (namely any kind of spirituality not based in humanity). And in person, they seemed like a band of rejects from a Star Trek convention. Well intentioned, extremelt brilliant, but a little off track.
